Durham French Employment Centre meets (is committed to respecting and protecting customers’ privacy, candidates and employees and thus has established this policy and procedures to meet the requirements of applicable laws.

The information below is in addition to our collection practices, storage and use of your personal data. You should review this policy in order to understand and consent to how we may collect, use and share your personal information. Unless you have given us enough information, we may be unable to assist you in your recruitment or job search needs.

Requested identifying information

Durham French Employment Centre informs candidates of the information that will be collected, how it will be used and whether they will be transferred to third parties. When possible, these details will be provided prior to collecting their information, or as soon as the opportunity arises.

The aim of the Durham French Employment Centre in collecting your personal information is to provide you with the most personalized service possible. By having more information about you, the Center is able to provide higher employment services and therefore a better service.

  • search for a candidate to fill a position.

We ask applicants their names, addresses and other personal information. When recruiting, we may also ask for personal information that is considered “private”, such as (the) information required for receiving health benefits.

The amount and type of personal information that will be requested will be limited to what is necessary to provide our services.

The internet portal of Durham French Employment Centre includes links redirecting to various external sites. When you use these links, you leave the website of the Durham French Employment Centre and thereby, our privacy policies are no longer applied.

People visiting these sites are encouraged to consult their policies regarding privacy and asked to provide nominative information without understanding what it will be used. Durham French Employment Centre also encourages users to consult the Privacy Guidelines recommended by “Online Privacy Alliance”.

The Durham Employment Centre (holds its)’s employees, agents and suppliers are accountable for maintaining the trust that our applicants, employees, and customers place in us. We train our employees and conduct periodic audits to respect our privacy and security policies. Durham French Employment Centre does not sell or trade personal information to third parties. We disclose personal information when required by law.

In order to provide our services, personal information you provide will only be shared with other agencies that are governed by the same principles of privacy and security practices.

The Durham French Employment Centre may also collect demographic information (such as the percentage of our customers who have graduated college) and other data required by law. If we do collect and report this demographic information, we remove all personally identifiable information (name, address, etc.) pertaining to demographics.
